TFE LIVE: John Bertrand (USA) on Olympic classes, sailing & coaching; Aly Di Nas (USA) on the US-33 DEFENDER / Warrior Sailing collaboration for the 12 Metre Worlds

Wednesday, June 19, 2019

SAN FRANCISCO (#1148) – Tuesday's TFE LIVE was a marathon, with a nearly two-hour opening segment with John Bertrand (USA), the esteemed Olympic medalist, multiple world champion, America's Cup tactician/strategist, and now successful Olympic coach who was with us live in-studio. We talked mostly Olympics and Olympic classes with JB, past present and future, and he made a number of insightful, and perhaps inciteful, comments, observations and predictions. Not to be missed for Olympic sailors, coaches, fans and event parents of Olympians. Watch a replay of today's show here, or click on the image below.

We also had an interesting chat, recorded earlier via Skype, with Aly Di Nas who is doing social media and PR for the 12 Metre DEFENDER (US-33) that has been chartered for the upcoming 12M Worlds (Newport, RI July 8-13) by our longtime friends Dick Enersen (San Francisco) and Tom Webster (Hilton Head). That aired in the final 30 minutes of today's show, but you can watch a replay via YouTube below....
