1967: Appreciation for Bus Mosbacher, Olin Stephens and a great crew

SAN FRANCISCO – In response to our post on Monday with the cover of Time Magazine from 50 years ago this week featuring New York Yacht Club's Bus Mosbacher, who would go on to win the America's Cup in September, 1967 as skipper of INTREPID, we received a number of nice letters to the editor, including this one from George Hinman....

Mr Hinman is a former NYYC Commodore and current Director of US SAILING (among other orgs.). He was a member of Mosbacher's INTREPID crew in 1967, and is a devoted sailor and dedicated leader in our sport.
