PROVIDENCE, RI – SI has learned from reports out of Rhode Island today that a Rhode Island Superior Court in Providence has appointed a Warwick, RI law firm as temporary receiver with a court hearing set on August 8th for the appointment of a permanent receiver. It's a sad day for sailing in the USA as U.S. Watercraft has been producing, and providing parts for, the J/22, J/24, J/80, J/105, Farr 30, Farr 40, and C&C 30, among others.
