Meet the team

Tom Ehman, Founder, Publisher & Editor, shown here with his daughter Meg at Newport Harbor YC's Baldwin Cup, April 2017. Tom is known in America's Cup circles as "The Chairman," but among friends is often called, simply, TFE (or worse). A lifelong sailor he is a member of the Balboa YC, Beach St. YC, Fort Worth BC, Golden Gate YC, Gstaad YC (SUI), New York YC, Portage YC and St. Francis YC.

Meg Ehman, Client Services and Deputy Editor. A recent convert to sailing, she is a member of the Beach Street YC, San Diego YC and St. Francis YC.

Max Moosmann, Content Strategy and Contributing Editor, shown here over brunch at Balboa YC in April 2017. Perhaps better known as "Moose", at 6'10", he's a big, strong boy in demand as crew on top offshore yachts. A young leader in the sport, Max founded the Chapman University sailing team, and is an active racer and committeeman at Balboa YC in Newport Beach.

Chris Bretschger, Marketing and Social Media, like TFE is an early-riser shown here over coffee at a sunrise strategy session for the 2016 Governor's Cup. Fondly known as "Grasshopper" among the IT'S OK! crew (the Andrews 50' out of Balboa YC on which he has been racing for over a decade), Chris is another young leader in the sport. He serves on and chairs a number of committees at Balboa YC. Chris is also founding member of the Beach Street YC.
