SailGP: Join us for a TFE Live "Watch Party" tonight (Thursday in SF) at 2045 Pacific / 2345 Eastern / 0445+1 UTC – fifteen minutes before racing is scheduled to begin in SYD, and continuing for the full two hours

Friday, February 15, 2019

SAN FRANCISCO (#1176)  – By popular demand, and following on from similar successful "Live Watch Parties" we've done for other events, including the Rolex Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race, we will go live tonight (Thursday) fifteen minutes before the SailGP racing begins in Sydney, and cover the racing via the SailGP Facebook feed and SailGP app. We expect many of our FOSI (Friends of Sailing Illustrated ) to join the fun, and adding their usual cogent and pithy comments and questions. We might even have phone-in available – "talk-back radio" comes to yacht racing via SI?

We'll go live at 2045 Pacific (8:45p) on Thursday evening / 0445 UTC Friday morning. Racing is live in Sydney at 1600 local (AEDT). As always, on our SI Facebook page.

Tom Slingsby's SailGP Team AUS won Thursday's practice race. Will they prevail again on Race Day One (of two)? Or will it be Nathan Outteridge and his Team Japan, or one of the other four teams.
