VOR: Superb video highlights of the start earlier today of Leg 1; 1450nm race to Lisbon via the Made

ALICANTE, ESP – Just posted to the Volvo Ocean Race YouTube channel, below is the two-minute highlights video of today's start, and the short-leg racing in the Bay of Alicante for the benefit of the fans on shore and the impressive fleet of spectator boats (unruly at times; the helicopter footage of the yachts threading their way through the fleet at one point is a bit scary). After the "Tour de Alicante" the boats exited the Bay through a gate set by the race committee and headed for Gibraltar and the Atlantic.
