Irma's Incursion: 'Seriously bad news for Florida; now forecast to strengthen to Cat 5 before landfall' – Mark Michaelsen

Friday, September 8, 2017

SAN FRANCISCO – That news (headline) came a few moments ago from Mark Michaelsen, Sailing Illustrated's severe weather expert. Another significant change, he says: Irma's track adjusted west – better for Miami; terrible for the Keys and Naples, etc. I might note that this is almost exactly as Mark predicted almost a week ago. We had an hour-long discussion on all this, and Hurricane Jose that now poses a serious threat to the same Caribbean Islands that Irma has already devastated, on a special Facebook Live earlier today. You can watch a replay here.
