SB-KH: 81 yachts racing 81 miles, noon start, light forecast

Friday, July 28, 2017

SANTA BARBARA, CA – The forecast is not auspicious. 8 knots at the start, lighter around Anacapa Island then not much better across to Malibu and perhaps even lighter east to Redondo Beach and the finish off King Harbor Yacht Club. Some routings showing 20 hours in our Andrews 50 IT'S OK!, for a race that we won last year finishing in just over eight hours.
