AC35: First video of the Kiwi capsize

VIDEO IS COURTESY of the Bermuda news website BerNews.com. Sailors call it a "pitch-pole" when the bows dig in and the boat capsizes forward rather than to the side. "Ass-over-teakettle" as it is often called Commonwealth countries. "Auguring in" and "Down the mine" are a couple more popular expressions, especially among catamaran sailors. Thank God no one was hurt. The boat is another matter. Remember, too, that this was their back-up wing. They had a problem with their first wing today before racing commenced, had to go back to their base and swap to their other wing, making it back out to the starting area with only a couple minutes to spare before their first race with GBR. Presumably they have problems with both wings now.
