Alexia Russell: Why the America's Cup pushes our (Kiwi) patriotic buttons

Tuesday, June 6, 2017

YOUR ED. IS NOT EVEN going to grab a quote from this great article, by a colleague of Suzanne McFadden's at New Zealand's new, cool news and features website called, simply, "newsroom" (newsroom.co.nz). I've not had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Russell, but if over the long-haul she is half as good a journo as is our long time friend and Cup veteran scribe Suzanne, we are all in for a treat. I've just read her piece (headline above), and commend it to all AC fans – Kiwis and non-Kiwis alike. Read and enjoy.

She's also a clever snapper. Photo, which accompanies her story, by Alexi Russell courtesy of newsroom.co.nz.
