NHYC "Lightning" defeats StFYC 2-0 to win 2017 Baldwin Cup

CONGRATS TO NHYC and their Team Lightning who defeated StFYC 2-0 to win the Baldwin Cup Final a few minutes ago, as darkness fell over Newport Harbor with a nearly full moon rising in the Eastern sky. The finish of the second match was so close it took the RC some time to sort out who had actually won. Indeed, the two teams were being sent back out for a third match on the belief that StFYC had won to even the score at 1-1. But then the RC ruled that NHYC had in fact won the second match to take the final series, and the Baldwin Cup, 2-0.
