San Diego's best new coffee spot

TFE (AND MWE) RECOMMENDS the Coffee Hub and Café, serving breakfast and lunch in Point Loma's Shelter Island Village, off Scott St, near the Stars & Stripes Mart and House of Thai. Serving locally roasted "craft" coffee and fancy teas, the motif and atmosphere are nice (albeit cycling not sailing), the staff is terrific, and the reasonably-priced food is excellent (try the "Caprese Eggs Benny"). With thanks to John R. Callery and Josh Coyne for commending it to Meg Ehman, with whom I enjoyed a delightful working brekkie this morning....
